Bee medicine, known as apitherapy, touts bee pollen, propolis and the honey itself as amazing healers.  It is wise to consume them from the area or environs in which you live due to acclimatization of the body to its surroundings.    Bee pollen is jam packed full of vitamins amino acids and enzymes. Put a heaping teaspoonful into your smoothie or yogurt.  Caution…..limit your first dose to a few  pellets to test for a possible allergic reaction.

Propolis is the sticky tree resin bees coat their hives with because it is anti-microbial which keeps their homes germ free. It is also analgesic and ideal for a store throat soother

Raw honey is also loaded with health-promoting enzymes, minerals, and anti-oxidants.  One tablespoon or two daily of raw, unfiltered, unheated honey can increase your energy. Recent studies show that darker colored varieties may help protect against LDL cholesterol.

Putting honey on a wound can actually speed up the healing process.  Clean the wound two times a day and re-apply honey until the area is completely healed.
