1. Cinnamon: Shown to be an antioxidant thus a cardiovascular weapon; decreases blood pressure, helps insulin work better; may also prevent Alzheimer’s.
How much? ¼ to ½ a teaspoon as a tea four or five days of the week
2. Sage: Shown to affect memory and mood such as in dementia and Alzheimer’s; increases digestion; has an estrogen-like effect for hot flashes.
How much? ¼ to ½ teaspoon as a tea two times a week
3. Turmeric: Potent anti-inflammatory hence works like NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) without the drug side effects; excellent for heart health.
How much? 1 teaspoon as a tea (can use honey to soften the taste) three times a week
4. Thyme: Good digestive aid and anti-microbial
How much? 1 teaspoon fresh or ¼ to ½ dried in tea three times a week
5. Ginger: Excellent for digestion, menstrual cramps, migraines and muscle pain
How much? Use daily as a tea to desired potency
6. Rosemary: Helps with memory, inhibits cancer cell growth, is an antioxidant

8. Basil: Good for arthritis and inflammation; antimicrobial; antiviral

9. Chili peppers: Regulates blood sugar; topically used in salves for arthritis, headaches and chronic pain
